Today our focus is on the super important Throat Chakra. Amp up this energy work with sodalite and chamomile essential oil.

In your favorite outdoor spot kick off your shoes and put your bare feet on the ground. With an intention of presence take three deep breaths, hold each for a count of three and on each slow exhale release tension, stress and to-do's. Allow yourself to just relax.

When you feel ready take another deep breath this time bringing your attention to your throat chakra. Visualize this crystal blue energy clearing and expanding.

Repeat this affirmation as many times as you like: "I easily & gracefully express my deepest feelings & emotions." You may be one of those people who does this no sweat. Or you may be like many who suppress personal expression. It's true that there often is a time and place that is most appropriate. But sometimes we hold back because we want to avoid conflict, which also can be good in some circumstances but necessary in others. 
Did you know that listening is also associated with this chakra? So perhaps if you need to have a good, open conversation with someone you BOTH should work on the throat chakra just before you sit for a chat.

Expressing yourself is critical for overall well-being. Keeping things bottled up causes stress and eventually resentment. And we all know the role managing stress plays in your physical and emotional health.

You matter and your feelings matter. Open up that throat chakra and express yourself! And of course be a good and open listener. It goes both ways. ๐Ÿ’š
