David Cassidy, musician and ‘The Partridge Family’ teen idol, has died. He was 67. He was 19 when he was cast as Keith Partridge, lead singer and guitarist of the fictional family band at the center of the musical sitcom 'The Partridge Family.' Over the course of four seasons and 96 episodes, 'The Partridge Family' became a hit both on television and in music. His debut solo album 'Cherish,' released in 1972 amid Partridge mania, was similarly successfully. "I have an image of myself in five years," he told us in 1972. "I'm living on an island. The sky is blue, the sun is shining. And I'm smiling, I'm healthy, I'm a family man." Learn more about him at RollingStone.com.

Since the release of the Marvel film ‘Thor Ragnarok’, which featured Led Zeppelin’s ‘Immigrant Song’, the song’s sales has increased by 1000%. This put ‘Immigrant Song’ back on the charts for the first time since the bands reunion concert in December of 2007. Led Zeppelin is notorious for refusing their music to be used in soundtracks to films, but after reluctantly agreeing to allow the filmmakers to use a song, the band stated “No one’s allowed to touch our song in any way musically”. Young generations are being exposed to Zeppelin’s music, it’s great news folks! #johnpauljones#jimmypage#johnbonham#robertplant#ledzeppelin#classicrock#70s#thor
