REAL TALK WEDNESDAY 🗣
5th August 2017-14th October 2017
On the left ⬅️ is the package I took to the Tyne & Wear qualifier show, and on the right ➡️ the package I took to the British championships.
Granted, there are some VERY SLIGHT differences in my physique between these two pictures however, I know there was so much more I could have achieved within the 10 week time frame I was given to play with. BUT sometimes progress isn’t always linear, things don’t always go to plan and being HUMAN we all make mistakes. 🙋🏻
If you’ve followed my most recent posts you will know that I was struggling Both mentally and physically with the majority of this prep (well, this whole season tbf lets be honest.) My progress became very slow, my weight fluctuated a LOT,my mental state deteriorated and therefore my diet and training took a real hit. ANYWAY...lets get back to addressing the real reason behind sharing this post with y’all...
It’s so important, not just as a competitor but within life itself to take full responsibility for the actions YOU take and the decisions YOU make. You have to Hold your hands up and say ‘yeah, you know what, I f****d up, it was on me, but I’ve learnt from it, I’ve grown from it, I’ve accepted it and now I’m gonna move on from it.’🙋🏻 ⏩
I personally hold MYSELF 100% accountable for the results (or should I say lack of) I achieved within this time period and accept that it was down to me to fix the issues I had been facing.
I guess what I’m trying to say is; the moment you take responsibility for EVERYTHING in your life is the moment you can change ANYTHING in your life. —————————————
So here’s to drawing a line and focusing on the future. Improvement season come at me because 2018...I’m coming for ya!! 😉💪🙅🏻 #accountability #responsibility #human #mistakeshappen #dealwithit #learnfromit #moveonfromit #improvementseason #bikinigirl #readyforit #timetowork #pushharder #showgirlfitness
