For me, this Instagram started as a WW accountability experiment for myself, but has evolved into a WW lifestyle journal. At the moment, life is challenging and difficult trying to keep myself strong and healthy with my mom being sent to the hospital on Thursday morning. She has been in a skilled nursing community for over three years now and many of you may remember I walk for her and the Alzheimer’s Association on The Longest Day in June.
However, I have stayed on track and it’s good to see positive results on my first weigh-in FREESTYLE!!! I still LOVE it and will have more to say about it as I LIVE it!!! Usually I weigh in Friday morning, but I had spent a full day and a half at the hospital so I weighed in this morning, which works out because I weighed in last Saturday, too because I was gone.
Thank you for all of your prayers, well wishes and positive vibes for my mom, me and my family. I have read and felt them all as there is a lot of waiting at hospitals... My mom’s condition is improving, but still serious. Christmas and Christmas Eve have always been my mom’s favorite, so that makes this all the more bittersweet.

Sunday funday brunch watching the Eagles beat the Giants 🙌🏼 Umm this was the bag I got when I asked for a small order of tots 🤣 (12 for 7sp) plus a sriracha honey chicken cheesesteak I only had 3/4 of a 1/2 so I’m counting it as 7sp. Tons of leftovers today!

Wendy’s stop on the way home after two hours of grocery shopping (all set for Christmas dinner now!). Love the flexibility of this #wwfreestyle plan to let me still fit a stop in at the drive thru on a busy day! 4sp for the chili, 3sp for 1/2 grilled chicken sandwich and 7sp for 1/2 medium fries. Now off to unpack the car of all the groceries! (Don’t worry, it’s below freezing outside in the Mitten state!)

Sorry sir, but you don't know me. You don't know how hard I've worked to lose 35 pounds. You don't know that I say no thank you to treats more often than I say yes please. You don't know how I struggle with body image and accepting food as fuel. You don't know me, but maybe you should. I will prove that I am hard working, caring, and pretty damn strong. This one is for you, for me, for everyone damn doubter out there. 🦄🤘
Writing out my goals today for 2018! I don’t want my last name to be the only thing that changes next year. I want to quit being all talk, and be a lot more action. I want MORE out of this life. I want my dream body. I want career success and happiness. I want health, energy and inner peace. I know that I am the only person who can make my dreams a reality and I’m ready.
