What does your gal eat when she doesn't train ?  I used to think : "reduce carbs on rest days, because you are not burning them". ❌ Lol. Kids, the brain burns more carbs than your body ever will. 
SO NOURISH IT AS IT DESERVES OK. 
Yes, I usually eat higher fat during rest days - but I don't see it now as a "low-carb-day". Again, I just do not like how this messes up with my brain. I would end up waiting for high carb days like Christmas. ⠀

Which meal appeals you most ??
I have to say, these energy balls were da bomb... Did I mention there are Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan and Nut Free ? 💁🏼 Let me know if you want the recipe !! ⠀ ⠀

If you're trying to lose weight then calorie deficit is important. Extreme diets are not required! It is possible to make smaller changes to your meals and snacks across the day to achieve the deficit
👉🏼Here's an example using stir fry. Swap the following ingredients on the left to make the meal on the right:
-IN - 1 cup Cauli rice. Out- 1 cup cooked rice. Or if you love rice you could use half of each
- IN - 2tsp Sriracha. Out - 1 Tbsp Sweet chilli sauce. Less Sriracha is needed because it has a stronger flavour
- Out- pan oil. You get fats in the meat and sauce and a bit of water will be adequate if you're using a non-stick pan
- IN- extra veg. Out- SOME of the meat. The plate on the left has 180g meat compared with 80g on the right. The meal on the right has 200g of extra veg!

The calories on the bottom row represent how much ONE burger contains, the top row represents how much it would be to eat 2 of those burgers 🍔✨

When I visit McDonalds (mostly when I'm a drunken mess occasionally for someone's birthday 😂... not going to lie) I see so many people ordering multiple burgers thinking they're doing themselves better because it's 'Protein'

What people generally forget is that McDonald's doesn't contain a great deal of protein, more so Fat from the oils and meats they use 😬

If you find yourself in a McDonald's , your best bet is to either, get a plain burger with no cheese + regular chips 🍟 or alternatively you can enjoy life and enjoy all 4 burgers 😂 it depends what your Macronutrients are and what your goal is! It could be to gain weight for all I know 🤗🤔🍔

#transformation from #shredz queen to #lean bean ... you can’t maintain the skinned rabbit look for too long but I haven’t really mourned the loss of that #condition ... I honestly thought that I would never ever stop thinking about food EVER no matter how much I ate but I can confirm that isn’t an issue now. My point here is even though you may pay attention to how many calories you're eating, you need to know where they're coming from and how they add up. Some good insight into where you get your calories from. What this is saying, is that for every carbohydrate you eat, you are eating 4 calories. As an example, I just ate an 'energy ball'. The carbs on the packet is listed as 16.2g. If I multiple that by 4, I've just eaten 64.8 calories from carbs alone. The fat is listed as 8.2g x 9 gives me 73.8 calories from fat. Workouts have been going well and have been going to the gym and as well as other sports outside the gym but will have to change something in order to achieve my goals.

I learnt that Nuts, avocados, whole wheat pasta, olive oil, banana and dark chocolate which are healthy options are high in calories. 
You still need to watch how much you eat of the good stuff. For example, avocado offers a ton of health benefits, but an entire fruit is over 200 calories...learn from my mistake....portion control is key...even with healthy foods!

This past weekend I went with my cousin to her work Christmas party. It was a semi formal type thing, so I had to dress nice for it. A few years, and 70 pounds ago, I never would've worn a dress, much less one this short, but I felt so confident and pretty that night! I've been on and off the pasr few weeks, and probably will be until the new year, but despite that, I'm still nowhere near what I used to be, or how I used to feel! I obviously still have a long way to go, but I'm so happy with how far I've come! Definitely a huuuuuge #nsv for me! •

This past weekend I went with my cousin to her work Christmas party. It was a semi formal type thing, so I had to dress nice for it. A few years, and 70 pounds ago, I never would've worn a dress, much less one this short, but I felt so confident and pretty that night! I've been on and off the pasr few weeks, and probably will be until the new year, but despite that, I'm still nowhere near what I used to be, or how I used to feel! I obviously still have a long way to go, but I'm so happy with how far I've come! They've been on top of the kitchen cupboards for a couple of months but tonight I was just feeling a bit down and that shiny blue box caught my eye 👀
