It’s one thing to have a dream but without hard work it remains just a dream. Over 8 years ago I literally turned my life around. I was extremely negative & depressed & had no self belief or motivation to do anything.
I met my amazing man @recdedmond & he played a huge part in helping me see my own worth & potential & that I deserved to be happy.
With Dec’s support I started implementing exercise & healthy eating into my lifestyle. I fell inlove with the way it made me feel & believed everyone deserved to feel that way. From that point on I made it my mission to spread my message to as many people as I could. I felt like I finally had a purpose.
I was never academically minded & dropped out of school early, but neither of those things held me back from achieving my goals.
If you combine self belief, good ethics & hard work with your passion it’s incredible what you can do.
What’s most important I believe is who you surround yourself with & having genuine, supportive people in your life.
It’s such an honour to be included on the AFR Young Rich List with so many amazing business people & entrepreneurs. It wasn’t long ago that I minimised my accomplishments & wouldn’t talk about them, but I think it’s important to celebrate achievements & be grateful for them.
I wouldn’t be doing any of this without all of you & my amazing team @_sammangan, @spinandco & @jonesworks supporting me along my journey. You’ve all played such an important role in helping me reach my dreams & goals. Thank you so much!🙏🏼
Thank you to my darling Deccy. You’re my best friend, love of my life & business partner & you’ve loved me unconditionally since we first got together almost 8 yrs ago. I’m so excited to share the rest of my life with you & welcome our little one into our world that’s full of love. 💗 I couldn’t ask for anything more. .
Career goals are amazing to achieve but it really is the things that money can’t buy that make me truly happy. 🙏🏼 .
Remember, usually you’re the one holding yourself back from achieving your dreams & goals, so step out of your own way & go get what you want & work bloody hard! 😝👊🏼 .
Dream - Believe - Commit - Achieve

✨💕"You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don't make money your goal. Instead pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can't take their eyes off of you” —Dr. Maya Angelou✨💕
✨Do what you love so you can make money, while never “working” another day in your life! Where passion flows, the income will follow! 💕🤗💫
Happy Sunday Everyone! ✨✨✨✨✨
2 years ago today I graduated 🎓 from AIM with big, big dreams of a successful international career 🌏. Alas the universe had different plans for me, and I am a big believer of fate.
So after 6+ months of countless applications, interviews, rejections and closed doors I gave up on my dream and searched for a new one. Every single day I wonder if this was a mistake and if I should have stuck with it and tried harder, but in my mind there was a reason for the closed doors, it wasn’t meant for me, and to be honest maybe the placement coordinator was right and I don’t have the personality for the industry 🎼. It wasn’t easy to give up on my dream, it felt like music had broken my heart 💔 and every rejection was sending me into a deeper state of depression. It feels like I am only now starting to heal from the biggest heart break of my life and starting to love music again.
Do I regret doing my degree? I do in the sense of the $60,000+ debt that I am in from it, but it was something I had to do, I would spend my life wondering and wanting if I hadn’t done it and realised it wasn’t for me. The degree also helped me to get into my current degree so at least it came in handy for something 🤷🏼♀️
"Be polite to everybody... it's not just about doing good work. I know a lot of guys that do good work, and have bad attitudes.... I get that I'm easy to work with so I get calls from a lot of people because they like the way I work" - Felix Mendez (videographer)
That was his take on how to create a successful videography career.
