Earlier today, my housemate Chris @sianghuat brought back some chicken dish which is look and taste like the Malay Ayam Masak Kicap.
But actually it was cooked by his China transfer students and they called it as COLA Chicken. Yes! They added some Coke to the chicken meal and it was a popular Chinese meal from their region (so called lah). I knew there are some popular chicken dish which cooked with marmite and some kind of wine/beer. But this one is not bad eventho I still prefer the Malay style Ayam Masak Kicap even the taste is more or less the same.
I suspected, the similarity of the taste is because they are using Malaysian kicap instead of the China brand one.
Photo source is from Google since I haf eat all the chicken. LOL.
