Day 2 of the #MindfulGratitude challenge is an ACTIVITY that enriches your life and makes your feel grateful. ⠀
I am so grateful to have yoga in my life! Not only does it ground me, stretch me physically, and emotionally, but it also forces me to breathe! Even more importantly it has been my stability when the ground was quite shaky. There was a time where I would consistently finish class and sob silently in shavasana. The poses are just a channel to release something far deeper. ⠀
I am also grateful to this angel of a friend in this video with me @yescamille. She has been my rock, an amazing angel of a friend and my yoga teacher. 💗🙏 ⠀

The deeper I go the more I realize it’s not anything about what anyone else is doing- it’s about our sacred connection to source. That’s all that matters and that is the eternal reality we all are waking up to. We are all connected and we all feel the powerful energetic shifts around us. We are waking up to our forgotten divinity. #crownchakra#clarity#1111#massawakening
Purple is a colour associated with the Crown Chakra. •
This energy centre is located at the top of your head and connects you to a deeper sense of self as well as to the Divine. •
After making the challenging decision of stepping down from my role as Executive Director for @folkloricofilipinocanada, I went through a little depression. Some have said that the severe ezcema flare up I experienced weeks ago was a result of the stress I put on myself for not staying with the role. •
This decision was an important one as this role in the group is demanding and required time that I was no longer able to spare. I have a vision for kaye.yoga and I had unconsciously placed it on the backburner because of my love for my dance group.
During a recent teacher training, I was reminded that it is through my yoga studies, that I can help people connect with a stronger, healthier relationship with themselves. This proved to be challenging when my attention was split between two major roles. Now, I can confidently bring my awareness back to my mission.
With this change, I thought it made sense to match it with a new look. To honour a deeper connection with myself, shades of purple glow on my hair. Thank you for guiding me to this energy, @franzyyz // @CowlickYYZ
