Di ritorno dalla corsa a stomaco vuoto colazione con dolce al cucchiaio 😁 BURRO DI ARACHIDI @foodspring_it 🥜 is the way. In questo post voglio affrontare un tema molto richiesto: L’AMENORREA. Ebbene sì, come quasi tutte le ragazze anche io ho avuto problemi di amenorrea. Senza andare troppo indietro nel tempo il mio disturbo alimentare è nato proprio nel pieno della fase dello sviluppo e, eliminando ogni tipo di alimento, ad eccezione di frutta e verdura, ho bloccato le funzioni dell’ipotalamo, che altro non è che la centralina del cervello in grado di regolare i bioritmi. Lo stress provocato dalla dieta blocca l’ipotalamo, che a sua volta blocca la produzione degli ordini che ormoni che tramite l’ipofisi stimolano l’ovaio ad ovulare. Risultato finale? ADDIO CICLO.
Questa situazione è rimasta tale finché non ho iniziato una pillola con la quale avevo un finto ciclo, che per problemi di emicrania, ho dovuto sospendere dopo un anno dopodiché byebye per altri 2anni, finché non si sa come sono rimasta incinta 😁 (riattivazione dell’ovulazione dovuta ad un momentaneo calo di stress).
Dopo la gravidanza il ciclo non è più tornato naturalmente, ho provato di tutto: dall’agopuntura alle CURE ormonali, nulla ha funzionato finché un giorno il ciclo è tornato. 
Nel mio caso il blocco era dovuto al DCA, all’eccessiva ossessione per il peso ed il cibo, per altri può essere dovuto ad una carenza nutrizionale, ad un eccessivo sottopeso. Si tratta sempre di una situazione dove il corpo, in stato di pericolo, va in difesa e manda dei segnali espliciti, per questo va sempre ascoltato. Uno degli aspetti fondamentali per ristabilire l’equilibrio ormonale è la regolare assunzione di acidi grassi essenziali, “mattoni” fondamentali per la produzione degli ORMONI. Per questo mi vedete sempre assumere GRASSI perché sono FONDAMENTALI per la DONNA e perché ho fatto così tanta fatica a recuperare questo equilibrio che non voglio permettermi di perderlo! I used @foodforlifebaking sprouted Ezekiel toast and topped one with 1/4 smashed avocado, pepper and hemp seeds and the ✌🏼nd slice with @wild_friends almond butter, sliced banana, pumpkin spice and hemp seeds! Take 🖐cups: 10-12 large pitted @ndmedjooldates + 1/3 cup @crazyrichardspb + 1/3 cup peanuts or cashews + 20 mini #glutenfree @snyders_hanover pretzels ➡️blend everything besides the pretzels in a food processor til a “dough” forms. Add pretzels & pulse until incorporated but not too finely ground. Heat 1/3 cup coconut oil + 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder in a small saucepan till smooth. Press a heaping TBSP of date mixture into 12 slots of a muffin pan, top with cocoa sauce & freeze/refrigerate till hard! You’re welcome 😬✌️#makeityours

I'd like you all to meet Cambridge University Amateur Boxing Club's first ever undergraduate coach. She's also the first female coach of a varsity boxing team. Today was my first day in my new role.

I work in a very male dominated sport, and it can be hard going in to new situations within that.

I was terrified this morning. I hadn't slept well, I didn't know what they were going to ask of me. I've never taught such a large group of people my own age. I've never really taught lads.

I had a great time.

I love boxing. I will never stop thanking @katedakers for everything that @box4fitness has done for me. But most of all, right now, I am damn proud of what I've achieved.
