You will only get dens looking muscles if you lift heavy and get stronger. This process, also known as myofibrillar hypertrophy is triggered by working in the lower rep ranges (3-8) and by taking longer rest between sets (so you can still lift heavy the next set). For men this will mean that you will also look muscular outside of the gym. For women this will give that “toned” look where most women are after.
