Sorry for being MIA. A LOT has happened these last few weeks, wrapping up production jobs for the year and buying a house. It has been the most challenging and rewarding experience as a small business owner to date. This home is way more than I ever anticipated buying for “my first home”, BUT I could not think of anything more perfect. If any of you have followed along on my story you can see “it is a charity house.” One of best things through the process is the previous homeowner @morgantrinker has collaborated on design and shared the new excitement right along with me. Knoxy is LOVING a backyard, he may drive me nuts wanting to go outside 74637 times a day, doggy door will be installed. This house has such incredible bones and I can’t wait to turn it into my own. Yes, I know my wreath is to big for my front door, but haven’t gotten time to hang it in front of the windows- bare with me people😂

It's Christmas Eve next Sunday! This month, as always, has gone sooo quickly already!! I wanted to create videos and take lots of photos, but with working too, I just haven't had time! This Christmas is a special one because it's Lliam and I's first Christmas in our new home! I love this decoration - it was so cheap, I bought it from Amazon a few weeks ago. Anyway, got lots of last little bits of Christmas shopping done today, so now I'm gonna wrap, eat homemade mince pies, and watch something festive on TV! Hope you're all having a lovely December! 🎅🏻🎄☃ #Christmas#shopping#firsthome#decoration#ChristmasTree#festive
Floral prints + pink...if you know me these are two things I never thought would ever be in my home. Needless to say... zebras can change their stripes! Still looking forward to designing a complete reno in the future. But for now, I am embracing this 1950s bathroom. #559milwaukee
So, here's my interior and home account 🏡
My other account is @leanne_harris1699, hi 👋 and welcome!
I wanted to start this account as my next project after our May wedding and to sort this bloody house out.
We bought our first house, The Morton (pictured but with the drivethrough rather than the garage, which we have) in the North East back in 2015, and haven't had time to do much to it as I fell pregnant after two months of trying with our first baby. Since maternity pay was stat pay, money had to be saved for baba.
Whilst on maternity I was tasked with organising our May 2018 wedding, so all of our money has been ploughed into that after our son, Oliver arrived in June 2016.
This has resulted in still white walls from the builders, no light fittings or furniture/finishing touches to make it more homely.
Luckily we reserved in time where the standard fittings, tiles, kitchen and doors hasn't been picked so at least we had some influence there!
