Was feeling salty after last weekend when I couldn’t even budge 510 off the ground so decided to do a last minute “deadlift demo” at an unsanctioned meet at my friends gym today. Weight felt light on my hands but ripped pretty bad at the top. I can finally go to sleep knowing I left it ALL on the platform. I’m officially ready to move on from this year and this last prep, take some time off competition prep and bring a stronger package to the platform in 2018. Let’s do this.
Attended the VIP media party for clean juice last night and was on the verge of tears because no outfit I wanted to wear fit or looked right on me. I realized I wear shorts and tees and crop tops everywhere and when it comes to looking presentable my options are all limited to stretchy items which don’t get be wrong I’m blessed and grateful for my curves I’ve built but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows and that goes for girls AND guys. Writing this as I’m about to head to the one place that makes me feel confident and at peace which duh is the gym on a Saturday night. So don’t worry guys we’re made to be different and that should be embraced not hidden I worked damn hard for these muscles I won’t tear myself down or try and fit in because of them ✊🏻🙌🏻💪🏻. #Quadzilla#GoodVibes

Anderson has been a little under the weather(😢) and my attention has been 100% on him which means it feels I’m behind and “falling short” in every other area at the moment. But ya know what? I’m doing my best. Being a Momma is my number 1 priority and when other important things (fitness included) take a back seat because of that, it is nothing to feel bad about.
