Sitting here trying to think of some inspirational quote to go along with this photo. 🚫Screw it! I’ll tell it to ya straight.
If you put crap into your body, you’re going to feel like crap. If you stop moving your body, you’re going to lose the ability to move. If you refuse to put your health first and make time for fitness and cleaner eating, you will find yourself tired, depressed, constantly getting sick, overweight, or worse, diseased. It’s sad and bold for me to say, but it’s true.
At 21, I was tired daily. I had no kids yet and didn’t even know the meaning of what tired was, but I was fueling my body with the wrong things (junk food, fast food, beer, soda, and cigarettes) so I was digging my grave a little deeper and deeper each day. My depression got worse and so did my skin, my hair, and body. I was feeling like a 50 year old stuck in a 21 year old’s body. I woke up one day and told myself that something had to give and fast.
You may be stuck in a rut feeling sorry for yourself-cut that shit out. Pick yourself up and treat yourself like you’re worth MORE. Because you are. Stop eating the foods that make you feel terrible. Start getting off of the couch and take that first step to making fitness a routine. You don’t regret it. Nobody every regretted a workout or clean meal. But it all starts with you. You’re the only person holding yourself back. Don’t blame your husband, your kids, or friends. Rise above!
You might have a long journey ahead of you. But I tell you what.. it’s gonna be a hella lot longer if you never get started!
