A Tiny House that is truly a home. Just three short years ago we started building our tiny house on one of our 28ft @tinyhousetrailers. It's hard to believe how much time has flown and how big and awesome the tiny house movement has become. 2017 was a huge year for the tiny houses and we built over 400 tiny house trailers for DIYs all across the country. What does 2018 have in store? Are you planning on starting your tiny house journey this coming year? Fall and winter has proven to be the best time to start by preparing and getting your trailer on order before the spring rush is upon us. Go to www.TinyHouseBasics.com and we will help you every step of the way!
The secret sauce for a successful relationship in the Moroney family is an older lady. My mom is 1.5 yrs older than my pops. My brother is younger than his G. My sister has 1 year on her partner and I'm 16 months wiser than my buddy. Random coincidence or 🔑 to ever lasting love?! .
I've just put the finishing touches to our vlog featuring @vincentvanlife (coming out this Thursday!) when we met them on the outskirts of York to film a tour of their gorgeous home! For now feast your eyes on a shot of their garage 👀 |📸photo taken by @theindieprojects
Let the Christmas decorating begin. Pretty sure this pinecone wreath was made with vintage Airstreams in mind. Got this gem at @worldmarket today. A lot of you didn't like it in my IG story but perhaps you'll change your mind seeing it in action? 🤔✌ Also, a question for my fellow plant ladies: What outdoor plants would survive in coastal NC over the winter? Must build a jungle outside our door... The other day Jason was counting the plants in here and said, "they're even growing out of pockets!" referring to my @huxenandco air planter. So now I'd like for him to wade through plants as he exits the trailer too. 😂
Listening to a favorite podcast of mine today on the bus from Chiang Rai to the Myanmar border (@timferriss for those curious) I was reminded by Walter Isaacson whom he was interviewing, of a favorite quote of mine from the last edition of the Whole Earth Catalog, a 70’s counter culture magazine. “Stay hungry, stay foolish” Isaacson was asked what many of the great people whom he’s written biography’s on have in common. His response was they all maintained a childlike curiosity and wonder for everything throughout their lives. When asked as a follow up how others might follow in their footsteps his answer was simple. Travel. 🚎🌬🇹🇭🇲🇲
This is from when we met Alec & Becca (@adventuresofsyl) in Montenegro for some chill time and kitesurfing.
We also did a swift little #vantour of their #vanconversion which you can see on my YouTube Channel (link in bio) ;) Hopefully we will be meeting up them again in a couple of months in #Morzine :)
No markers, no road signs, no tracks on the GPS. Relying on an old map that to our surprise contained more detail than the map of the local army base. True adventure begins with you wandering off into the unknown...
