Training: Who You Become
When we all started we could barely kick a ball. When I was playing my dad was the coach and was trying to get a bunch of right footed players to use our left, so he made us take off our right shoe to force us to use our our left! .
Of course, as we get older we're trained to use both feet, and to be better on and off the ball. Every practice, every training session is for us to get to the next level. .
Before King David was actually king you know what he was doing? He was running for his life hiding in caves in the wilderness. .
During that time Dave God started training David in how to lead people when the 'losers' of society started to hang around, and end up becoming his military cabinet!
God had to take Dave to to the training grounds of the desert so he could become King over a nation. .
Things in life may not look right and you feel like you are out in the desert, you feel alone and there doesn't seem to be any improvements. God just might be training you so that you become the player intended you to be. .
