2017 was a year met with unexpected challenges, and even though a few of the desired goals were not achieved, there other successful goals scored, like a lucky bounce or deflected shot!
Last night after raining all day, God held off the rain and we only had to play in the cold. And still packed out at 54 players!pretty sure we were the only ones outside playing!
So we brought everything to a close by sharing the last lesson for the year. By offering what was offered myself and my team, grace.
“Evil wins, when good men do nothing”
And so we took the last 5 mins before we left for the last time with the message of hope, that Jesus Christ came to the world to destroy the works of the enemy, by living the perfect life we can not, died on the cross, and rose from the grave defeating death...having received the punishment we all should have.
And that is what we are offering all players all around the world, not just here in Houston. That’s what we play for, not for ourselves, but for a reason that’s greater, a purpose that is fulfilling, we at Project Delta “Play for something bigger.”
Merry Christmas! And happy New Year!
