Everyone has been asking me for a relaxed ab pic for a bit, so here you go. I am currently weighing in at around 155 lbs after starting my first bulk 2 months ago at the starting weight of 125 lbs. This is the heaviest I have ever weighed in my entire life, but also the shittiest I have looked and felt about myself. But I also realize that bulking is a necessary evil in bodybuilding. In order to progress and continue to improve my physique, I have to sacrifice looking shredded in order to gain more size. The negative comments and the shitty feedback I get from people about how I'm getting fat doesn't exactly improve my self esteem or mindset towards how I look, but I'm not one to get offended about some fat loser commenting about how I look shitty, when they themselves don't even care to put in the effort to improve themselves. Brushing off hate is something I'm used to, in fact I feed off of it and use it as a driving force for accomplishing my goals. Even though I might not look amazing now, I will come back looking better and bigger come summer time. ⚜️

This is the heaviest I have ever weighed in my entire life, but also the shittiest I have looked and felt about myself. But I also realize that bulking is a necessary evil in bodybuilding. In order to progress and continue to improve my physique, I have to sacrifice looking shredded in order to gain more size. November has been a slow progress month. I've been super sick + had my wisdom teeth taken out. I'm resting one more week until I'm completely healed from my wisdom teeth surgery, and then I'm going back in strong. It's been hard for me to tell myself to rest and take it slow. I've still been diligently going to the gym, mostly to do some incline walking on the treadmill and some light weight lifting. I'm ready to take my fitness to another level. Let's go! 💪🏼

It’s funny, I don’t remember ever seeing myself like this when I looked in the mirror. Yet that’s what I see sometimes when I look in the mirror now. I know especially in fitness, we’re all in a neverending pursuit of happiness with ourselves, especially coming from any type of major body (and mind) transformation. But it’s something to keep in mind before you judge somebody just because they’ve learned to develop confidence after years of hating themselves.

People can be so quick to judge or be hateful, when we don't know a thing about the silent battles fought by most, even by those we admire. Battles that are perhaps compensated by their very bravado we respect. We don’t see the pain that may be hidden behind their smile. We don't see the suffering and loss they have endured. But more importantly, we don’t know what wisdom is hidden in the hearts of those who go unnoticed.

The most broken people, who are also some of the most unsuspecting, have taught me more about life than any teacher ever could. They've taught me hope. They've reminded me that I don't have to have it all figured out in order to move forward.

So often, we need to hear the very words that we speak. We teach best, what we ourselves need to learn the most. By offering hope to others, I develop hope for myself.

Da ich gestern dieses Bild links, von unserem Portugalurlaub von vor 4(?) Jahren gefunden hab, wollte ich euch das nicht vorenthalten und nen Beitrag zum #motivationmonday liefern 😉
Das rechte Bild ist vor 2 Wochen gemacht worden.

Auf dem Portugalbild hatte ich gerade mal wieder 10kg abgenommen...damals mit "vegan for fit" aber nach diesen 10 Kilo stagnierte es, ich war deprimiert und bin in alte Verhaltensmuster verfallen. Die 10 Kilo waren bald zurück.

Viele verstehen immer nicht, was ich so toll an dem Buch Fettlogik überwinden finde.
Ganz einfach...ich denke, es hat mein Leben gerettet.
Ich habe gelernt zu verstehen, dass es normal ist, wenn das Gewicht bei ner Abnahme stagniert. Ich habe gelernt, dass ich eben auch "vorher" vielleicht nicht ungesund, aber eben falsch gegessen habe. Ich habe gelernt, dass es eben doch auf die Kalorien ankommt (und zwar ausschließlich wenn's nur ums abnehmen geht), mir wurde so oft erzählt das würde nicht stimmen. Ich habe gelernt, dass eine Diät keinen Sinn macht, man muss seine Lebensweise ändern. Und ich habe gelernt, warum eine Diät, bei der zu jeder Mahlzeit ne Soße aus Mandelmus (geht es überhaupt noch hochkalorischer? 🤔) gereicht wird, nur funktionieren hätte können, wenn man wirklich viel Sport dazu macht.
Ach so...nicht dass ich hier falsch verstanden werde. Ich liebe Mandelmus! Ess ich auch heute noch! Gesunde Fette sind auch sehr wichtig. Aber zum Abnehmen ist es als Käsesoßenersatz auf jedem Gericht (und das war es bei vegan for fit) einfach nicht die beste Variante 😉😂
Ach ja...und eine große Sache, die fettlogik überwinden noch in mir verändert hat:
ICH HABE KEINE ANGST MEHR VOR DEM GEWICHTHALTEN!!!
Das ist für mich vielleicht eine der wichtigsten Sachen überhaupt.
Ich habe erstens, wie gesagt mein Leben geändert und ich habe das Gefühl, ich weiß jetzt wie es geht.
Ich weiß, was ich essen kann um mein Gewicht zu halten und auch, dass mich einmal Fressen nicht dick macht. 
Also ja, ICH liebe das Buch, kann nur alles bestätigen, was darin steht und würde JEDEM empfehlen es zu lesen!
Auch wenn es am Anfang hart ist, weil man sich sooo viel eingestehen muss. Und das ist nicht immer leicht.

Had a fabulous day for a truly fabulous cause at the @cawfoundation fundraiser event 💋 Our table definately had some decent banter, cake eating and prosecco drinking skills (ok maybe it was just me who ate enough scone & cream for Scotland, accompanied with a gallon of prosecco and bed for 6pm, oops) I even met two fellow weightwatchers at my table! Who could ever think WW was boring eh? So close to Christmas now and I've started experimenting with some Christmas Food.
First up is my new recipe for Stuffing.
I love stuffing pretty much more than the Chicken  or Turkey 😂
So I've come up with a healthy version that I can enjoy as much as everyone else.

This stuffing is enough to go into 1 Turkey or 2 x 2.5kg Chickens. 
If you look closely at the chook pictured, behind in the silver long shaped foil is the other half of the stuffing that I'm cooking separately because I don't need 2 chickens tonight for dinner 🤣
The chicken will serve 6, the stuffing is for 6 serves (per chicken).

Chicken or Turkey Stuffing
.
.

250gms diced mushrooms
250gms grated cauliflower 
1 large onion
1 cup breadcrumbs 
1 egg
Salt/Pepper
90gms Berg bacon
1/4 cup Fresh Thyme leaves 
1/4 cup fresh flat leaf parsley 
2 Tbls fresh sage 
4-5 garlic cloves grated

Sauté mushroom, onion, bacon & cauliflower until just tender, add garlic, & herbs, salt & pepper, cook for 2 more mins, stirring.
Let mixture cool.
Add breadcrumbs & egg, stir to combine.
Mixture should stick together.

2 Weight Watchers Smart Points Per Serve of Stuffing.
If you want exact weight per Serve of stuffing,  I suggest you weigh the stuffing before cooking and work out the weight per Serve.

But, this will also be the first Thanksgiving without my Daddy here with us! I’ll be doing my best to stay uplifted as we head towards the anniversary of his death. Exercising and committing myself to health tremendously helps me manage my sadness, stress, and anxiety.

There are still and will most likely always be some rough days. But, I’m choosing to remain positive and focused. I know God wants that for me! And, I surround myself with people that have the same outlook on life.  I’m learning that I'm stronger than I ever imagined.
•

✨ Tracking Macros ✨

I've been tracking my food intake for a while now. It started off to get an understanding of how many calories were in certain foods.

Then I became really obsessive over making sure that I only had 1200 cals a day - which is not necessarily sustainable.
.
I've eaten way over 1200 today, but as food tracking apps are not 100% accurate there's probably a slight variation to this as well.
.
I've been using this more to track macros at this stage. I'm over my targets today - but I am not aiming for perfection more an understanding of how I function - sleep, energy levels etc, when I have different foods.

✨ Tracking Macros ✨ . I've been tracking my food intake for a while now. It started off to get an understanding of how many calories were in certain foods. . Then I became really obsessive over making sure that I only had 1200 cals a day - which is not necessarily sustainable. . I've eaten way over 1200 today, but as food tracking apps are not 100% accurate there's probably a slight variation to this as well. . I've been using this more to track macros at this stage. I'm over my targets today - but I am not aiming for perfection more an understanding of how I function - sleep, energy levels etc, when I have different foods. .
