BERLIN PACEMAKER SAMMY KITWARA CRUSHES COURSE RECORD IN VALENCIA MARATHON WITH A QUICK 2:05:15

Sunday’s race included seven men with personal best times faster than the course record, which previously stood at 2:06:13. Only two bettered the record but it was 31-year-old Kitwara to take the victory in 2:05:15, his second fastest time of his career behind his 2:04:28 PB in Chicago 2014. Kitwara had no tune up races but ran the opening 30km of the Berlin Marathon as pacemaker in September and 27km of the Amsterdam Marathon last month where he was hired on to pace as well. Second place finisher Evans Chebet improved his 2:05:31 best from last fall’s Berlin Marathon a year ago by 1 second.

Sorry, dass ich in der letzten Zeit kaum aktiv war 🙈 Momentan habe ich einfach verdammt viel um die Ohren und ich bin so froh, wenn dieser Monat endlich vorbei ist und vor allem das graue Wetter hier unten ein Ende hat 😫 Aber ein Highlight kommt in dieser Woche noch: Unsere neue Küche 😂 Nach über 1,5 Monaten ohne Herdplatte und Co. können wir am Donnerstag endlich aufatmen haha 🎊 Ohne Küche ist es wirklich belastend könnt ihr euch das vorstellen ? 
Ansonsten stehen momentan bei mir eher langsame Läufe an und das Schwimmtraining läuft auch wieder 🏊🏻‍♀️

Let the base building continue... mostly easy miles all week then ended with a half marathon as a steady state run.  Hamstring isn't ready to run hard yet so I'll be keeping the miles easy for a few weeks while self-massage, light stretching and strength tainting for this hamstring, glutes and hips.  A runner must do what a runner must do. 💪🏃😊🏃💪🏃😊

HOW TO GET CUT

Cutting is a beast of its own.
-
You've probably even screwed it up yourself. You bulk up, then cut down to reveal your hard-earned muscle, only to be the same size that you started. It sucks. -
You want to hold onto that muscle, so here's how to cut properly:
-
Lift weights to build muscle and strength. If you're training to build muscle, you're not going to lose it when you cut.
-
Caloric deficit with high protein. You need to be losing weight (which is accomplished by a Caloric deficit), and you need to have high protein to make sure that the weight you lose is FAT instead of MUSCLE.

HIIT. If you're going to do cardio, do HIIT. Something like 15 seconds sprint with 1:45 rest will work well (go as hard as you can on the sprints).

Sleep. I have trouble sleeping when I'm in a Caloric deficit, but sleep is anabolic. Pretend you're Han Solo in Carbonite and try to get at least 7 hours per night.

仕事帰りのマラソン番長と走りながら合流、なんかピカピカ光るやつ、かしてもらった♡
なかなか新しい企画。わたし朝走ったから軽くでいいですよ〜と言いながら、ほぼノンストップ10キロ。そして、2枚目、まとめといたやつ〜ってもらったレースタイムのレポートがすごすぎ〜
この忙しい合間に朝晩で20キロも走っちゃった月曜日、もはやなんでもできそうな気がしつつ、今日は立川最終日、安全運転で行きます〜
