Omg ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I got on and off that many times !! I've lost 4lb this week !! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป I've stuck to plan 100% for the first time in a long time I struggle to do 100% weeks hence 7 years to lose 6 stone 2lb. I know what you're thinking.."Jac you're pushing it out in that first pic"--guys I WISH! Sadly this is how bloated I was one week ago. But seven 30 minute workouts, 7 superfoods smoothies, and many delicious meals later--I won the motherfuggin week!!!!

It was hard combatting the cravings, getting back until daily workouts but I just told myself "It's just a week" and that I needed to honor the GIFT of being able to workout and eat to nourish my bod. I didn't think too far ahead. One meal at a time. One day at a time. And now that I'm "done" I realize I'm just getting started!

One thing that MUST be address is that our mind is what really needs the "work". So I took the week to daily read the book "Food Freedom" by the creator of whole 30. While I will not do the whole 30 program (I don't eat meat) this book is on point on how to be AWARE of how our body and mind responds to food, social situations etc. I can't recommend it enough.

Anyways--I feel fab. I want to build upon the past week. So I'm still working out, using my superfoods smoothie to curb sugar cravings, and becoming a master in the kitchen with healthy meals! I can't thank my team enough for their constant support. It truly is much less stressful having a community to fall back on.

A lot of folks like to complicate the heck out of finding their body’s calorie needs...

And with all the calorie calculators & formulas to choose from, it’s no wonder they’re left feeing all frazzled ‘n’ dazzled with what to do ๐Ÿ˜ซ

But the good news is that finding your calorie needs — especially your maintenance calorie needs — is a lot simpler than you might think.

The first step is to find a “theoretical” maintenance calorie level. You can use a formula or calculator online, but I find it’s easier to simply multiply your body weight by 14-15.

Next, you’ll want to track that calorie amount accurately for ~3 weeks. Make sure you’re taking your weight daily, too. That way, you can find your average weight, which is much more accurate than taking random weekly weigh-ins.

After doing this for 3-4 weeks...

Im one of these people that thinks weights make you ‘gain weight’ ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿผ‍โ™€๏ธ & I know it’s not true but can’t get it out my head so since I got back for holiday, it’s just been non stop cardio. This morning I stood on the scales and as usual, despite hardly being off plan on Saturday, I’ve gained a sh*t load of weight (went back on my pill on Saturday so probably the reason!) so this morning I did some weights anyway.
