Thank you for breastfeeding me mommy! 👶 I love how your breast milk is always there for me when I need it, anywhere and anytime, nice and warm; I love that it lets me eat and be so close to you at the same time. Breast milk is the perfect food for me I can most easily digest without the common intestinal problems from milk made in factories; it's all natural and organic, it can never be recalled for production mistakes, and I think it is so cool that it is made especially for me, and gives me just what I need as I grow. It helps me be the healthiest I can be, unlike any man made formula, it protects me from many infections, and as a baby and even when I am older, it prevents all kinds of health problems and diseases I can't even pronounce. What is really awesome to me is that this is how babies around the world have been fed since the beginning of time, and this is how many animals I love feed their baby animals - and we are carrying on that special, valued, life giving tradition. But who am I to say - who ever designed this feeding method has way more wisdom than any human. 📷: @melissajeanbabies#NormalizeBreastfeeding

•Boobie Monster• 15 months and counting ❤️ I am so incredibly blessed to have such a healthy, happy baby, and I definitely credit much of it to breastfeeding. The beginning of this journey was hard, but she’s a champ and we’ve always worked through any latch issues.
I’d love to hear about your breastfeeding journey 🌿 Your struggles and mama wins. What has your favorite part been so far? Whatever your choice - breastfeeding, pumping, or supplementing - it’s all about doing what’s best for your family. 💛💛
Also, throwback to last year nursing at 3 months. Remember when everyone was making these pictures? Haha it was such a pain to make. 😅😂
I never imagined I could have the best of both worlds. .
In many ways running a business as a health coach & stay-at-home mum has helped me personally just as much as the women I support in my nutrition/fitness accountability groups. I've been more consistent with exercise and nutrition AFTER having kids than I was BEFORE and I can thank the accountability and motivation I get from the women in my groups who find a reason bigger than their excuses to take care of themselves. .
I'm so grateful for the opportunities that lie ahead for my team and for me in 2018. By leading with humility you'll inspire others to take their first steps of self-care and it's the best feeling to have this kind of impact. Do you want to see what behind the scenes looks like with what I do? I just shared how I got started and how it's impacted my life as a busy mama. Message me if you want to be added. .
Who was the heaviest baby in your sibling line up? Molly takes the cake for sure! She's currently 85th percentile for height and weight!
One thing I never realized I was missing in the past was support!! When I used to be a trainer I knew having a buddy was beneficial but I didn’t really have anyone else in my corner besides my hubs! And although he’s wonderful + amazing, he was a trainer too and spent 8 years in the Marines haha! 😅 And honestly, I needed a place to hold me accountable and give me that daily motivation because it doesn’t come naturally for me!
When I started on this journey I found something that was unlike anything I’ve ever had..a SUPPORTIVE, positive, and loving community!! 🙌🏼 And those are pretty hard to come by nowadays!! People ask me all the time how I stay motivated and committed and it’s simple..it’s because of my accountability group and my desire to reach my goals!!👌🏼 .
Come January I’m going to be starting a new 80 DAY program that will be unlike any other one!! It’ll be 13 weeks of a dialed in timed nutrition plan AND killer workouts that are focusing on your core + booty🍑!! It won’t be easy but I’ll be SO worth it, especially just in time for bathing suit season 👙👌🏼!! I’m going to be opening up an exclusive group solely for this program NOW to start prepping!! But it’s not for everyone, you will need..
-A desire to do or be more!
-To be coachable!
-To want to make 2018 YOUR year!
-Have a sense of humor!
-To be ready to give up any excuses!
You DO NOT have to know it all or be super physically active right now, we will be prepping now to get where we need to be to start in Jan!!

What does your #momlife photo look like? This picture of the messy island in my kitchen represents mine perfectly! I took this picture initially for the gummy bears but as I went to post it I realized it's more than that!
In this picture we have, 💻 my laptop
🍚 some brown rice & oatmeal milk
👚 some new winter clothes
👔some recently folded laundry
💦 a perpetually empty water pitcher
🙊deodorant so I can access it when the baby is sleeping in my room
😝a burp cloth
🚿 the baby shower thank you cards I haven't finished or sent out

🍾 and in the forefront, some champagne flavored gummy bears we found on our girl's day shopping trip to Target today.
I love all the parts of my life even though some days are super hard and stressful. I continue to find it interesting, the conflicting feelings of loving mom life while being frustrated by it at the same time. This is quite an interesting journey, one that I really wasn't expecting....but you can't really plan for it, can you? 😂
Mama, are you navigating the confusing world of tongue ties and oral restrictions for your baby or young child? Would you like some experienced support?
When you're on the journey of understanding oral restrictions and the process of releasing ties, it can feel so BIG, confusing and overwhelming.
Having oral restrictions identified and released can be a game changer for both breastfeeding and beyond, but how do you know you're making the right decisions? I've been there, and I also know where you WANT to be. You want to be happily breastfeeding, confidently reaching your breastfeeding goals, enjoying peaceful snuggles with your child, with worries about weight gain, nipple pain and air-induced-reflux a distant memory... I developed The Tongue Tie Journey as a support program for breastfeeding mothers going through the process of releasing tongue tie and other oral restrictions for their infants or young children. It doesn't matter where you are in your journey, before or after release, I'm here to support you. The Tongue Tie Journey is your one stop shop, where YOU and your bub are important, and where your desire to continue breastfeeding is supported.
Who am I? Having breastfed through undiagnosed ties and then a second tie journey with early release, I became passionate about supporting mothers to reach their breastfeeding goals, including overcoming the challenges of oral restrictions.
Kind words from mums whom I've supported:
My little one and I have had a bit of a rough start to breastfeeding. I left the conversation with Debbie feeling more optimistic and supported in my breastfeeding journey... she has such a wealth of knowledge & experience and has such a warm and reassuring presence as well. Thanks again SO much Debbie! Meredith
I want to say thank you for always being there for us, you've saved this breastfeeding relationship many times' - Steph, mum of twins

Mini bagels have been our saving grace lately. In full toddler fashion, Zoe will devour something one night and shun it the next, but these bagels have been a constant yes for the past few days. Which means tomorrow she'll probably want nothing to do with them 🙄
