This is the way i am practicing piano. From slow and getting faster and separate hands. If i do not feel comfortable when it gets faster, i will start slower again until i feel comfortable when i play fast. i always get sleepy when practicing in this way. But i want to make everything perfect and comfortable. So, there is price you need to pay. If you want something, you should work hard to achieve it and the important thing is be patient. I am still working on this Mozart Trio in eflat major for piano, violin, and clarinet. It is extremely difficult, but i really love this trio. ☺️i need to work hard. I only have short time for practicing before i perform at the beginning of November😭😭#mozartpianotrio#pianopracticing . It is already at 10 PM here. So tired. Will go home and continue practicing tomorrow 😃
I have tried numerous practice charts with my son and have finally found one that seems to work well. My ultimate goal was to make it as clear as possible so that practice could be done independently. The colored stickers show which book to practice the allotted page numbers from.
Then my little one....4 year old....wanted her own so I found drawing a picture of the song shows her what to practice. 😳 and it actually seems to work.....until she needs a reminder of hand position.
And how to get practice to happen everyday? Well it doesn't always happen!!! But since screen time is limited here I allow 30 minutes of screen time if they practice all assigned songs. And that seems to make for a good incentive.
