Reflection 🧘🏻♀️ There are moments where it’s good to sit and reflect as to where you are during this present moment. Often times we are too busy thinking of the past or future in which aren’t now. Takes practice but I’m working on it.
Sometimes your day doesn’t turn out quite like you planned. Then you find this photo and you sigh: nature. It’s so much bigger than us and doesn’t have it’s shit together either. But man is it beautiful. #neverstopexploring
I pass by this spot frequently when going to visit my dad at the cemetery. It’s amazing how something so beautiful could cause such destruction. I always stop and pull over, to look over the water, think about him, and have a conversation with him. Some people tell me that I am torturing myself knowing this is where he took his last breath, and maybe I am, but it’s also one spot that I can sit back, enjoy the scenery and have a conversation with him. I have gained so many memories, good, bad, horrible and downright heart wrenching but this has all made me the person who I am and as much as I want my dad here right now, I am thankful for the memories he gave me. #sasklakes#lakediefenbaker#gardinerdam#gardiner#saskatchewan#saskatoon#yxe
