If you guys are wondering what’s in my fridge, here’s a look! 😍 While buffet style meal prep is a great tactic for saving time on the weekend, having all my foods portioned out make it so much easier during the week to stay on track with my goals without having to think about it 🙌 Detailed info and recipes below: 
9:00am Breakfast - 1/2 cup raspberries + easy no-bake balls (Recipe: 1 scoop vegan vanilla protein, 1/2 cup almond flour, 1/3 cup nut butter (peanut butter used), 3/4 cup quick oats (I used the ancient grain ones from Trader Joe’s), 1/4 maple syrup, 2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut, 1 tsp vanilla extra, 1 tbsp water - mix all ingredients and form in 12 balls total) 
11:00am Snack 1 -  2 medium boiled eggs, bell peppers & @gtskombucha 
1:00pm Lunch - 4oz turmeric bison, 1/2 cup tomatoes, 1 cup steamed squash, 1 cup steamed broccoli 
3:00pm Snack 2 - Almonds + 1 cup cucumbers 
6:00pm Salad Jar - Layers bottom to top: Baslamic vinegar, 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, 1/2 cup sautéed purple cabbage, 1 orange bell peppper, 1/2 a red bell pepper, 4oz ground turkey seasoned with @flavorgod, cilantro, micro greens, mixed greens.

Ingredients:
1 cup coconut water
1 cup ice
1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1 cup chopped kale
¼ large banana cut into chunks
1 tsp. finely chopped lime peel (lime zest)
1 tsp. coarsely chopped fresh ginger

Instructions:
Place coconut water, ice, Shakeology, kale, banana, lime peel, and ginger in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Jay mildly scoffed when I told him I was sugar detoxing right before Halloween, "But all the candy?!" Which is EXACTLY why I had to put the kibosh on the situation. My tactic was to drink my Shake at the time of day I craved sugar the most which fell right between lunch and dinner. This worked for the first two weeks but this weekend, I am riding the candy struggle bus.

The thing is, sometimes you just want to sink your teeth into something; it's part of the whole indulgent experience! So instead of drinking my Shake, I made Cafe Latte Chocolate Chip Walnut Superfoods balls! These are SO incredibly delicious and hit the spot, squashing my need for all the mini candy bars!! 3rd day in the gym since surgery and I felt so much better! I biked for an hour (and a five minute cooldown) while watching YouTube clips of my favorite show (#rupaulsdragrace)! Tomorrow I'm starting a 7 Day Shakeology Challenge so hopefully I see some changes. I went food shopping and got everything I'll need! .
