Welcome to one of our new members at large, Leanne ✊🏽❤️ "Tansi,
My name is Leanne Falkowsky Mazza, I am a BISW student at First Nations University of Canada. Being a part of the community at First Nations University has been one of the best experiences of my life. I view this opportunity as a gift. Learning about Aboriginal culture and history is opening me up to so many opportunities. I love my fellow students and am grateful to be on this learning journey with them. I hope I can bring some of my past experience with fundraising and advocacy to our student council to help grow and expand our precious and sacred space.

Welcome to our new Vice- President, Elicia ✊🏽@firstnationsuniversity_yxe "Tansi, my name is Elicia Munro- Sutherland. I'm a Cree- Saulteaux woman from at Beardys & Okemasis First Nation but I've lived in Saskatoon most of my life. I'm 24 years old and a mother to two. I'm currently in my 2nd year of university for my Indigenous Social Work Degree. I plan on working towards my masters after and then moving my career towards film. I own my own photography business called Elicia Munro Photography and I'm also known as an international model. I base a lot of my work around Indigenous people and cultures to raise awareness for indigenous issues that are happening within Canada. Also to show the true beauty and the resilience of our people. The First Nations University is an amazing institution. It has helped opened my eyes to so much more, shaped me into a better person in the short time I've been here, and has helped me on my healing journey. I'm excited to be on the student association for another year. I am now the new Vice President. I look forward to working with and learning from you all. Thank you ❤️" #firstnationsuniversityofcanada#nativeart#firstnations#vicepresident#studentassociation#fnuc#mother#indigenous#photographer#socialwork#university#yxe#saskatchewan#saskatoon
