12 WEEK💫TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY
After a summer of being ho-hum about workouts, kinda needing a break from BBG and wanting something fresh to motivate me, I decided to try a new guide from @lovesweatfitness 💕 It’s been a little over 12 weeks and I love it! The guide is easy to use, has a similar yet different vibe than BBG and most importantly, it gave me that new workout routine high! 😅 You know what I mean!? 💁🏼♀️ Plus since I workout from my RV while traveling, I can do it anywhere! 🙌🏼 I’m planning on starting again on 1/1 if anyone wants to join me! 💪🏼 Until then I’m running and doing yoga and bits and pieces of the guide... oh and resting 🎅🏼🎄Link to the LSF guide is in my bio 😘
Good Morning! Checking in today before I hop on a plane for an overnight work trip ✨✈️ I did a few things differently in my routine last night that I wanted to share. 1st I actually went to bed before 11pm haha HUGE win! Second I did NOT let myself put the TV on in bed and finally when my alarm went off this morning instead of saying “I’m so sleepy” I said “today is going to be a great day and you are going to feel amazing after complete your workout” I used that “feeling” as motivation to hop out of bed, get dressed enjoy a cup of coffee and hop on the treadmill...well turns out I was right! Feel so great after getting through my goal workout this morning AND not feeling rushed now to pack and get out of the door 👏🏼👏🏼 I know it’s really important to be in the moment but sometimes it’s important to focus on how you will feel OUTSIDE of the moment to motivate your choices IN the moment! Did you know that back in 2013 I got my motorcycle license? But then I became a mom and that hobby fell to the side. 😔 As moms, we tend to put our joys on the back burner to put our kiddos first. As I reflect on 2017 & all the amazing people I've met, I've thought about how these new communities relate to what I've read on shame. Shame forces us to put more value on what others think of us, that we start to hear all the expectations from society, family or friends that have told us how we should be and we lose ourselves along the way. We may not be able to control all of society's thoughts & opinions but, we can try to help others around us to be more compassionate and accepting. If I can't, I spend less time with those who choose to remain judgmental and lack empathy. I surround myself with compassionate & accepting people and it's made a huge difference in my life. The girls I've met through various fitness communities in the last year or so have been an incredible support system and source of inspiration for me. I don't reach out every time I'm dealing with shame around body image, but their strong Instagram posts and positive energy during workouts helps me remember the importance self love & working out (not just to lose weight). Choose you community wisely. 🙏🏻
It’s been awhile since I’ve made a wedding Wednesday post ❤️ Looking back at these pictures give me such mixed emotions still! Big - Hairy - Audacious Goals (BHAG's)
If you find yourself with a goal that seems overwhelming (think getting into school, starting your own business or becoming a yogi) then break down your BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) into smaller bites you can actually chew... 3. Use feedback to track your progress!
This is just one reason why I created The New Millennial platform in the first place… When people are serious about cutting the BS + meeting their goals - then feedback is an incredibly useful tool to staying accountable -- plus, if you ever falter - the community is here to pick you back up, lend an encouraging word or just empathize with the struggle.

Feeling more human-like after getting my hair done this evening even though I feel exhausted (and look it). Today was super lame at work so it was nice to be able to vent it out and catch up with my hairdresser afterwards...3 and half hours later...haha!! She's the best! Have you hugged your hairdresser lately because you totally should! 💇💕 Tomorrow is yoga at work day and it's much needed! We may be in the desert but it is still full of life and beauty. Today @fz_pilot Bryce and I walked around all the local shops and enjoyed a nice lunch with a view of the red rocks. Unfortunately my hubby's dad is in the hospital from a heart attack so we aren't able to bring him on our adventures. Still trying to make the best of it though. #sedona#arizona
Ahhh!! A little soup for dinner is just what I needed! I made a yummy pozole (Mexican stew with pork & hominy) for the fam and a healthy spicy green Chile chicken & vegetable soup for me topped with shredded cabbage, avocado and radishes 😋 I also made some Mexican Christmas punch...not so healthy but delish! ...
I’ve been slacking a bit on the daily holiday challenges but my workouts have been good and I’ve been getting in those 2 miles everyday so far! Yay! 😄 I feel it’s getting to be a bit more difficult staying away from all the good food around me during this time of year so I am trying to fill up on LCG foods before I get too crazy haha! 🤣 ...

Just a quick check in after a busy day: I wore my #tiugirl crop tonight while I taught Jazzercise. This baby step is a big deal to me—I know my stomach isn’t out but I had resigned to the “long and baggy” life a long time ago. I am proud to say I rocked this shirt, took an amazing Core class, then taught an intense strength class and never once felt insecure in this top. I’m branching out more and being a bit more bold in what I wear—especially workout clothes because that’s mainly what I wear besides yoga pants. 😂 Anyways it may not seem like a huge deal but it’s one of those small mental victories for me and I’m pretty excited about it! Moving your body and making smart choices nutritionally make such a big difference in my mentality—and I love that @toneitup makes eating healthy easy and fun!
