A W A R D W I N N I N G // so I still can't quite believe it but last night I brought home the "Wedding Planner of the year (independent)" for the East Midlands - regional winner award at @twia_official .
It's such a huge accolade because these awards are like no other awards: only my clients have been able to vote for me, then a panel of wedding planning experts have privately analysed my business and decided I have earned this title. .
It's not only wonderful to be recognised for my hard work but it's a great award to advertise to future clients.
I have had the most incredible year, in my work life and in my personal life. I've poured my heart and soul into this industry for the past 5 years; when I first embarked on my venture to become a wedding planner. All of my clients have helped me build my company and have had a part to play in my success and I am so grateful for them trusting me with their special days. .
To say I've managed to establish an award winning business just before I turn 30 is an amazing feeling! Thank you to my brides, grooms, industry friends, personal friends and family for your support. You make this all possible and allow me to do a job I absolutely love. .
I wasn't allowed to do an acceptance speech last night on stage so there it is! 😂
As I celebrate a year with Love Cat D Weddings & Events, it's lovely to look back and enjoy the beautiful moments I have had the pleasure to be a part of... this is taken from the gorgeous wedding of Mr & Mrs Dow who got married last month in the Memorial Chapel at @uofglasgow 💜 a truly wonderful day x
