Who’s your favorite superhero?💥👀 Tell me!
New video just went live on my YouTube (link in bio). Instead of the plain old copy the superhero’s workout style vid though, I’m breaking down everything that’s WRONG with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman workout 😉. This vid is science (and sassiness) packed. PS - mad respect if you can name that rap icon at 5:51 🔥
I believe in balance. I believe in promoting a healthy lifestyle, in terms of both physical and mental health. I believe in showing people that you don’t have to be afraid of food. You don’t have to be afraid of missing a workout. You don’t have to be afraid of stepping outside your routine. I believe in sustainability. I believe in promoting a lifestyle that emphasizes the importance of health and happiness. We’re all going to have a different opinion on what balance is. I believe that balance is bringing your own healthy lunch to work instead of ordering pizza everyday with your coworkers. I believe that balance is working out when your body is able. I don’t believe balance is skipping family functions, outings with friends, and special events because you think you have to stay home and eat broccoli. I don’t believe balance is dragging your ass to the gym even when your body aches for a break. I believe this is self-sabotage. I believe this is dangerous. This is unhealthy and this is not sustainable. I know it can be hard to find balance. I struggle with it too. But you deserve to live a normal life just like everyone else. You should not feel guilty for eating something that doesn’t fit your macros. You should not feel guilty because you missed a workout. Don’t work yourself too hard. Just because your legs don’t feel like rubber, doesn’t mean you don’t need a break. Just because you don’t feel the sensation of hunger, doesn’t mean you’re not hungry. I made my own success by trying new things and making mistakes. Do what you need to do to live as happily as you can and don’t let anyone make you feel guilty for taking care of yourself.
LOVE U. 🖤

I found a picture of me from 2013. I just finished my first ever 5k (took me well over an hour!). I was still carrying the weight from my depression. Now 4 years later: I just reached my lowest weight and finished another workout of strength training, the elliptical, and the treadmill. Three things that I never thought I would do, and enjoy doing! I’m successful because of some amazing gym instructors, a husband who goes on walks with me even if it’s chilly, a family who keeps doing Fitbit challenges every week with me, and the motivation to not fall back into bad habits. If you’re reading this and you’re struggling: fight like hell. I’ll fight with you. #fitness#fitbit#weightlosstransformation#depression#survivor

It's crazy to think how big I used to be, even in my selfies.😨 This makes me extremely uncomfortable. & no one even told me how gross I looked!! Not even my significant other. >:( Makeup was still fleeky tho.
