🍷Amarone Classico Recioto della Valpolicella 1975 - Masi🍷
🍇Production area: Verona - Gargagnago di Valpolicella
Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara.
🍇Winemaking: obtained from selected grapes and left in the winter months on drainage racks. The maceration is carried out in stainless steel tanks and then passed into tonneaux once the product has been separated from the skins.
The ripening takes place in barriques for 18 months, followed by aging in the bottle.
🍇Testing notes: Very dense ruby red. At the nose comes a scent of cherries and fruit in spirit.
In the mouth it is complex and pleasant, with a very persistent finish.
🍇Pairing: Dried desserts and pastries, it is also ideal with seasoned cheeses.

Secondary aromas- pressed red flowers, eucalyptus, cedar, tobacco and clove, fig and cherry fruit. Further developing dense secondary depth on the palate- cedar, spices, tobacco, leather- highlighted by the sweet red fruits, layered and seamless across a full and round texture, displaying elegance and finesse in its complexity. Smooth broad tannins, finishing with full depth. Medium bodied on the palate, developing secondary and primary notes from the nose- savory flavors with high-toned fruit, evocative. Medium-bodied adding weight and density on the mid-palate.
