If you want to achieve something in your life, you have to work. That's non debatable. You gotta have a dream, your North Star, but your actions are what's important. They have to be pointed in the direction of your goal. There are a lot of other variables, but this one is the most controllable, so GO DO!
~ If you are trying to achieve something in your life, don't be crippled by fear of mistakes. Tony Robbins once said 'No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow you progress, you are still ahead of anyone who isn't trying.' ~
People are the greatest asset. Networking is currently a big thing and it's talked about a lot in today's society, and I absolutely agree. But that still doesn't mean that you need to hang out with someone negative just because you think he can help you sometimes in the future.
First of all that's not friendship, that's a transaction. Second, it's not real, and I don't think in most of cases that the person is going to actually help you.
Third, think about yourself. If you are the one not being real and just pretending to like someone because you see a potential benefit, is that the person you want to be?
It's not emotionally unintelligent to understand someone, but not wanting to be friends with them. Your friends are supposed to lift you up, build you up, believe in you at all times even if you don't believe in yourself, love and support you at all times, but also tell you what you need to hear at all times because it's for your own sake.
~ Ask yourself 'Are you willing to give up now, and live the rest of your life knowing you just gave up?' I personally would burn inside knowing I didn't leave it all out there, that there is something out there I could've done, and as long as I'm still alive and breathing, there is. ~
