Founders Field Notes: It has seemed too easy to slip into a cynical state of mind these days. Are you feeling that too?
Lately, when I feel that way, I have been trying to step outside of the 'story' I am telling myself and see myself from across the room. Who is this guy that is bent out of shape? What's his deal?
Where is my fear or anger coming from? Is it forming from inside me and projecting out, or is it encircling me from the outside in. It can be tough to decipher. But regardless, the end result of carrying around negative or dark energy is my responsibility. It helps no one unless I can learn use it as a motivator to bring about positive change.
Sometimes one word, one story, one song is enough to flip the script and open up again to mystery and wonder of life. Tonight, this photo did just that for me. Hey life - bring it on! All of it! Lets go!! Eli, co-founder #CraftedForFreedom
Thank you Freewaters community!
We just contributed another $10,000 to our drinking water projects in Kenya and Haiti. We are so grateful for your continued support. Stay tuned for updates as this latest round of funding quickly becomes new projects on the ground #CraftedForFreedom
Founders Field Notes: One of the things I love most about our water projects is they are a constant reminder to keep things in perspective and to keep things simple. The pace of life is moving so fast these days - it can be so overwhelming. The best solutions, are usually the simplest ones, regardless of where we live and the challenges we face.
In partnership with our friends @untilthenotg and project manager @mainafree, we can now dig a well in Kenya for as little as $500 USD. A remarkably simple and effective solution to a very complex problem.
Don't let life's challenges and complexity overwhelm you. Focus on simple answers. Break it down into small steps. And trust your feet.
Thank you Freewaters community for your constant support. Really, thank you. Gratitude - so simple.
We've teamed up with our friends @freewood.co to give away a pair of their polarized shades and a pair of our House Slippers. Get cozy and stay shaded. Head over to @foundwildproject to enter. Good luck folks!
