In this little teaser I talk about what I think are the two most important aspects of music.
The album conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy with the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra contains 3 of my compositions: If you will it, it is no dream opus 58, The Big Bang and Creation of the Universe opus 52 and my violin concerto opus 60 (with Irmina Trynkos, Violinist)
Listen and follow the score in this short video except of my Quasi una cadenza opus 26 for solo violin!
The piece is published by Donemus and you can listen to the piece in its entirety and/ or buy the score on their website: https://webshop.donemus.com/action/front/sheetmusic/15956
Tomorrow night my Suspended opus 69 is in Italy at the Teatro Donizetti, Bergamo !
Suspended opus 69 was premiered in January 2015 at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, performed 23 times at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe during August 2015 and is now touring the world. The piece was recorded at the Jesus-Christus-Kirche, Berlin, in August 2015 for the Solaire Records label and is now available on CD and download.
The music was commissioned especially by Sean Gandini and Gandini Juggling for their ballet for jugglers and dancers 4 x 4 Ephemeral Architectures.
Another great review of my latest CD, Suspended opus 69! "Borenstein’s sense of fun is infectious, the music moving effortlessly from sultry tango to breezy serenade." http://www.theartsdesk.com/classical-music/classical-cds-weekly-borenstein-satie-tchaikovsky
