Looking over the edge at the Sunken City. When the world seems to fall apart around you, or if attempts you are making at success are failing, don’t get discouraged. There are going to be difficult obstacles throughout your life. There will be times that you fail and times when people let you down/hurt you. Accept it and keep going. They say time heals all wounds, which means that in the end you are going to be ok. So you might as well decide to be ok now and save yourself some hurt. If it is a person that has hurt you, either forgive them or remove them from your life. The longer you let that drama ride on your shoulders, the worse you are going to feel. If it’s a physical problem, like training for example, and you aren’t reaching your fitness goals, then you need to seek information on what you are doing wrong. Are you honestly working out hard enough? Are you honestly eating correctly to support your workouts? If you think you are, then search for new workouts or alternative diets to change things up, but don’t lose motivation. Get motivated to find the solution.
Your motivation and ability to reach success really relies upon you being able to accept what you have going on and making the decision to move forward. KNOW that you CAN and decide that you WILL. Specific to training, I stay motivated in knowing that training will never let me down. I know that if I dedicate time time to training it will yield results, and for that reason I put a lot of time into it, because it always makes me feel good.

I’ve been mixing @performixdriven Ion V2X and Pump before each workout and have been getting sickening pumps lately! And yes, I know I used the word pump twice in the last sentence lol, but that’s because the gains are real. Keep putting in consistent work, and results will come. I did a bunch of bunch backflip burpees this morning to burn off all the carbs I ate yesterday. I find this type of cardio more exciting than jogging or the stair master. Box jumps also help to build explosiveness and agility. Try adding in lateral and reverse box jumps into your workout instead of just the normal forward box jumps. @performixdriven#performixdriven

Happy Thanksgiving! Or should I say Happy GainsGiving! ...or if TG isn’t your thing, happy Thursday. I am thankful for my family, my friends, and all of you (who are also my friends we just haven’t shared gains yet 👊🏻). In all seriousness, I wish the very best to all of you and your loved ones. On a fitness note, I’m doing an intermittent fast today, so that I can eat everything I want at Thanksgiving dinner and stay shreddy. So, I haven’t eaten anything yet today, and I will either start eating around 3 pm, or I will wait until dinner, and then eat everything. And by everything I mean, turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, gravy, rolls, green beans, fruit salad, pumpkin pie, and ice cream...and I’m not even going to feel bad about it. #thanksgiving#gainsgiving#gains#allthegains
Drove up to my hometown of Sonoma, CA yesterday to hang out with my family and found this epic down lighting at my home gym while getting a workout in.
